It is the method to puncture the filiform needle into the subcutaneous
area. It is also called needle-entering method, needle taken-in
method, etc. While inserting the needle, it requires that the puncturing
hand and the pressing hand are closely coordinated, and that the
finger force, wrist force and arm force are exerted harmoniously
so that the patient feels no pain or slight pain. There are many
ways of inserting the needle which are described respectively as
follows.
1. It is divided into quick puncturing method
and slow puncturing method according to the speed of insertion.
2. It is divided into inserting method and twisting-inserting method
according to the way of insertion.
3. It is divided into single-hand puncturing method and double-hand
puncturing method according to the posture of puncturing hand and
pressing hand.
4. It is divided into needle-tube puncturing method and needling-apparatus
puncturing method according to the needling apparatus.
